Defense Department guide calls Founding Fathers ‘extremist’


marcus-cicero-freedomWell, I suppose that’s true, the founders were sort of radical. After all they valued the rights of Englishmen that cost James II the Throne. No doubt George III and Lord North would agree with the Department of defense that the colonists who insisted on their rights were radical.

Rebels we were and rebels we remain. It not a bug, it’s a feature. And as we’ve said many time it’s why the west is free. From The Daily Caller.

A Department of Defense teaching guide meant to fight extremism advises students that rather than “dressing in sheets” modern-day radicals “will talk of individual liberties, states’ rights, and how to make the world a better place,” and describes 18th-century American patriots seeking freedom from the British as belonging to “extremist ideologies.”
